FRIENDLY CITY
SAFE SPACE

For my Intro to Visual Communications course, I co-designed a full campaign for Friendly City Safe Space, a Harrisonburg nonprofit supporting LGBTQ+ community members.

Working alongside my partner, Hailey DuRocher, I developed a cohesive visual identity and produced branded matericals including Facebook banners, flyers, merchandise concepts, and a multi-panel brochure. My role centered on translating the organization’s mission into accessible, community-focused design through thoughtful typography, color palettes, and layout choices.

Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the nonprofit to ensure every deliverable aligned with their values and maintained a unified brand presence across platforms.

This campaign strengthened my ability to design with purpose, balancing storytelling and visual consistency to support a meaningful cause.
